Oasis FM launches new CanaryABC darts portal To attract more interest in the local friday darts league, main sponsor Oasis FM has in collaboration with CanaryABC launched a new fantastic darts portal. The web portal were on a computer which was launched from a window on third floor at the Oasis towers by one representative from each company last Monday.
Mr.Booze named "Most sexy darts team in history" A poll which included more than 80% of all active players in the Oasis Fm Friday darts league has seen the Mr.Booze team of the 2008/09 team win the prestigious award of "Most sexy darts team in history". According to several voters, the rough and natural look of certain team members were decisive.
Another twist in the debate about new players The debate about the use of unregistered players has hit new heights after the league awarded Our place playgirls an 8-0 victory following a complaint regarding their recent game against Bar El Sol B. Fielding a chimp in the fifth single, the home team secured the victory after a lenghty double one run.
Darts experiment proved to be a fiasco and cancelled A scientific experiment which originally was described as "innovative" and "step forward" by the president of the local darts league, Roscoe Ferguson, has after one month of research been abandoned after the initial idea of a human person holding the dartboard proved to be "irresponsible and dangerous".
Jealous dart player attempts to harpoon wife A jealous husband was arrested last saturday, suspected to have attempted to use a 40g dart to harpoon his wife and cause serious damage in a darts game the day before. Fuelled by a previous argument, he launched the dart at his wife in anger but was caught on a mobile camera by another player.

The first round of the new season offered surprises in both divisions. With both the assumed top teams, Exiles and Bar180 losing at home to Nauta and Flukers, one can wonder whether this indicates that we will see more teams involved at the top or that the favourites has underestimated the opposition. The result of the week came at Target Bar where Exiles B surprised with a 7-1 victory.

In the second division, there were several draws on a night dominated by the girls. At Strikers bar, the Phoenix flames romped to an unexpected win, Amigos Bad girls drew Paddy O'Taffys and Sharon scored her first ever 180 as her playgirls lost at home to Target B. The lady which still hit the headlines with a great 142 finish was Charmaine, in her first game for Tenerife Sun.
